Keswick plays host to some popular annual festivals including it’s Film Festival in February and Keswick’s Jazz Festival in May continues to be a mecca for world class traditional and mainstream jazz, sponsored by the local Jennings Brewery and held at the The Theater by The Lake, a local treasure for the finest in regional drama. The Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal is another popular choice, as is the Rosehill Theater in Whitehaven and the Sands Centre in Carlisle.
